Enchanted Ballet
Mon - Fri • 9:30am to 11:30pm • Ages 3-5
Each Enchanted Ballet week will feature a different magical theme. Dance terminology, improvisation and character work are all introduced through magical fairy tales and classic children’s stories. Daily arts & crafts, snack and entertaining activities add to the day. A highlight of the week for dancers and faculty is the Enchanted Tea Party! Each Friday of camp, family and friends are invited to attend a special presentation to see their children dance the story created throughout the week. Five weeks to choose from:
June 25 - June 29th / July 9 - 13th / July 23 - 27th / July 30 - Aug 3rd
and Aug 13 - 17th
Dance Adventure
Mon - Fri • 12:30pm to 3:00pm • Ages 5-7
An exciting week long adventure including classes in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet and international dance, arts and crafts and stories from around the world. Each fun filled week will feature different countries and activities. At the end of camp, friends and family members are invited to attend a special in studio presentation to see the choreography and songs of the week performed. Four weeks to choose from:
July 9 - 13th / July 16 - 20th / July 30 - Aug 3rd
Summer Saturdays
Saturday • 8 Week Session • Ages 3-8 • June 30 - Aug 18th
During a fun filled class each small group of young dancers experiences a series of creative activities that are designed to encourage imagination, gross and fine motor skills musicality and spacial awareness.
Enchanted Ballet (3 & 4yrs) - 9:30 - 10:15am
Enchanted Ballet (5 & 6yrs) - 10:15 - 11:00am
Jazz & Tap (6-8yrs) - 11:00am - 12:00pm
Ballet (7 & 8yrs) - 12:00 - 1:00pm

SUMMER MUSIC PROGRAMS
DVS Hip Hop Crew
Mon - Fri • 9:30am to 1:30pm • Ages 8 - 12 • July 23 - 27th / Aug 13 - 17th
This action packed two weeks will focus on hip hop, jazz, funk and contemporary dance.
Dancers ages 8 -12 will work in a fun and challenging atmosphere to create DVS’s newest Dance Crew. In addition to classes, weekly activities include choreography workshops, costume/prop design, dancenumber production and more.
Summer Music Series
Tuesdays - Thursdays • By Appointment • June 26 - Aug. 16th
The summer is a great time to try an instrument or begin vocal lessons. Private one-on-one instruction allows students to progress at their own pace and gain the best understanding of musical techniques. Flexible hours and multiple studios make it possible for parents and students to find the time that fits their schedule.
Students can start private lessons as young as 5yrs old.
Over the six week summer session, the Dance and Music Centre offers
instruction in voice, piano and guitar.
Our Playdate DVD is filled with class exercises, games and music. It is a great way for children to practice at home and share a fun activity with friends. Contact the Centre today for your FREE copy!
FAST START GUITAR
Mon - Fri • Ages 6 -13 • July 16 - 20th / Aug 13 - 17th
Our 5 day workshops offer a crash course in guitar lessons for beginners that will have them playing songs within a week. Session meets Monday to Friday, three hours per day at the times specified. Session size is limited to twelve students in each age division so that your future rock star will receive individual attention.
